Biodanza New Zealand
Biodanza SRT (Rolando Toro System) is a personal development system that integrates music, movement, and connection to support well-being and human integration.
Through guided experiences in a group setting, it invites you to reconnect with your body, your emotions, and your natural way of relating to others.
It is not about learning steps or performing — it is about feeling, expressing, and rediscovering yourself in a safe and supportive space.
Originally developed in Chile by Rolando Toro, Biodanza is now shared around the world as a path of connection, vitality, and human expression.

Benefits
Biodanza supports a wide range of physical, emotional, and relational benefits.
Through regular practice, you may experience:
-
increased vitality and energy
-
greater emotional awareness and expression
-
reduced stress and a deeper sense of wellbeing
-
more authentic and meaningful relationships
-
a sense of belonging and connection
Rather than focusing on improvement, Biodanza invites a natural integration of who you are.
Who is it for
Biodanza is for anyone who feels the call to reconnect with themselves and others in a more meaningful way.
It is open to people of all ages and backgrounds — no previous experience is needed (we have active groups for adults only at the moment).
You don’t need to know how to dance.
Just a willingness to explore, feel, and be present...and maybe make new friends.
What to expect
A Biodanza session lasts around two hours and unfolds in two parts.
We begin with a moment of sharing — an invitation to arrive, connect through words, and open a space of trust within the group.
Then we move into the embodiment-somatic part: a series of guided exercises with music and movement. Each proposal is an invitation — you are free to participate in your own way, at your own rhythm.
There are no steps to follow and nothing to achieve. Just a space to feel, express, and connect.
